Book Seminar Final Project

I will have a sign-up sheet in class on Monday and Tuesday this week. Think about who you would like to work with and what book you want to teach your lesson on for the class. Have a back-up choice. Group sizes will e according to class size. It will be between 2-3 students per book.

Studying for the Close Reading Quizzes

A few people have asked me about how to study for the close reading quizzes during Boot Camp. My advice is to continuously review your literary terms and to look up every single word that you are unfamiliar with in the short story.

One of the biggest challenges for most students on the AP test is lack of vocabulary and knowledge of literary terms/devices and how they operate in a text.
